Pines Ranch tentative workdays: 8 am - 12 pm on Saturdays, June 1, June 15, & August 3; 24 total hours required; Landward this year (Rotation: Landward [2024], Fotheringham [2025], Lee/Robb Richards [2026]), Poulton [2027] Make sure to sign in or Richards will be assessed a fine. Participants are supposed to be a minimum of 12 years old.
Family workday at Richards Cabin for cleaning & repairs May 18th; Family work week May 15th @ 3pm to May 22nd @ 2pm.

Wood supply: please continue to be mindful of use. Wood in good supply this year.
Be aware of vacuums, empty canisters and check bags.
Roof heat tape - Turn on Nov 1, turn off May 1. Families using the cabin those weeks are responsible. Liz Deane will contact you. This year we needed to replace breaker switch. If the switch is off during winter, call Liz.
Furnace filters: change LDS Conference Weekends (Oct & April). Jenny Ferry will purchase and send it to the family to change. Please write the date on the filter when changing filters. Melissa Zelig will replace for April
Reminder: Lock box by the Pines entrance Gate. Lock box #17. Code set to 0701 (Nana’s birthday). Only the gate key is to be stored there and is to be replaced immediately after use.
Repairs and maintenance of cabin 2024:
sheetrock repair & replace broken windows upstairs (bunk room & crib room)
Liz called our insurance agent. They will send a contractor up as soon as the snow melts to inspect damage. Deductible is $1900. Would like to schedule contractor in May or November if possible. There may be more damage under the sheet rock.
replace the old thermostat for a digital one? We’ll keep old thermostat until it breaks
replace backdoor out to deck Christie will talk to John to team up with Alex to fix door this year. Will also ask insurance contractor about fixing the door.
Kenny will donate special mouse poison.
We’re going to wait another year on replacing vinyl floor.

Payment deadline for family assessment and chosen weeks: June 1, 2024

Would like to add a specific family contact & number for each chosen week to the website calendar. Being able to contact the next family for repairs or replacing products is important. However, our website is public. Let’s discuss.
Family Reps will send a list of phone numbers to Jenny. Specific family members recorded on the calendar.
Robb Richards showed up right in time for picking weeks.
A lot of weeks were selected at the meeting.
Families can book a maximum of two cabin weeks in a row. However, if you’ve been up at the cabin for two weeks and the upcoming week is still open, you can purchase that week.
